Default Ferodo DS3000 Pads - Any Experiences?

Just ordered a set this morning. This will be run with Group N discs and the MY03 4 pot caliper in my 1994 Type RA track car.

Anybody else tried them?

I had them for a while, work nicely at all temps but throw off loads of dust which is I'm told one of the worse ones for alloys and paintwork. Clean regularly.

Cheers, I heard they were dusty and noisy - Car is cleaned after every trackday so should not be a problem.

Quite a lot Certainly on track you can warp standard or 'fast road' discs in no time at all (3 laps) but the Group N perlitic iron discs I bought from TSL are proving to be excellent and worth every penny. If you can't afford AP's then they are a good alternative

DS3000s are superb on track, but you'll need to clean the car carefully after each use - ideally with a clay bar or something similar, or the small metal particles will bond to your wheels & paintwork and prove a nightmare to get off!
