Default Front wheel hub removal

Hi changing my front wheel bearings and have undone everything from the hub .Should the hub slide of the driveshaft or do you have to somehow press it off

Slides off... With a bit of persuasion that is

spray plenty of penetrating oil [Plusgas] down the splines, and leave to soak

Put the old hub nut back on, a couple of turns, to protect the thread

Using a heavy lump hammer and a block of wood, strike the hub nut very hard, to shock the spline... should start to see it move after a few hits.

Hope this helps
