Default Cheap efficient place to buy brake pads?

After some sets of brake pads - who is good value?

I have AP 4 pots front 304mm
Standard set up for the rear (sti5)

Also what do most people replace the front pads with once they've used up the AP provided stuff (what is the AP provided stuff - i had 3 sets off them) - are they DS2500?

Is Pagid any good - have heard that RS29 is ok but I dont want to knacker the AP discs....

Comments welcome

If you can find some Mintex (1153?) MGF Cup pads, they are very cheap and meant to be excellent.

If you decide on DS2500s I have a new boxed set which you can make me an offer on.
