Default 18" wheel fitment...

looking to get some white 18's for the mrs's scooby wagon...

its a daily drive so it prolly wont get lowered as long as it doesnt look too silly! the wheels we are looking at are 7.5J X 18" ET 42 with 225/40WR18 tyres... will they cause any arch problems?

if we went up to 8J X 18" with a similar offset would they also be ok?

cheerZ for your help guys

Joel,
The profile should be 35 and not 40 as they may interfere with the spring platform on the strut. They say that 225/35/18 will go on a classic saloon but that's on an ET53 wheel like the P1. I think with an ET42 they will rub and that why a lot of people run the 215/35/18 on a classic.

ok chaps... im now looking at a set of wheels which have come off an impreza classic saloon but im not sure if the car would have required any modifications to fit...

they are 7.5Jx18 ET48 with 215 35 18 tyres all round, these should be ok to bang straight on?
