Default NEW BRAKES SMOKING?

hi fitted the cheapest pads and discs from camskill 2 nights ago and was bedding them in then tiday let ma m8 drive it and he overtook a car doin bout 60-70 then braked didnt think too hard really, pulled up and they were smokin, drove home steady and were ok? any ideas

what pads were they?

cant remember only 25 quid, discs were 60, like i sed though would have bought better if werent skint!

It's normal normally the rust inhibiter on the new discs burning off.
