Help.No brakes
My car is a 95 sti. although a senior citizen I still like a good blast and my local fun road is the cat and fiddle. On a good dry day the brakes would fade to useless by threequarters of the way down. I don't use the car for track days so I felt just a small improvement was needed for fairly fast road use. I opted for grooved discs and greenstuff pads. I bedded these in carefully over 400 miles before going out to play. The new brakes packed up several corners earlier than the original set up........!! The bits were professionaly fitted, and the calipers checked........ The back brakes don't seem to be doing much, shouldn't full leg muscle, way beyond the norm, lock the back when the very much hotter front brakes cease to work?

Im my opinion green stuff pads are way to soft for the scooby and do over heat very easily, There are better alternatives. I've tried reds and found them to be better although many will say these are also not very good.
