i own a my94 wrx auto and was wondering if abs is fitted to these models,and also whether the brake pads have got indicators on them as my brake warning light has just started to stay on,i've checked the fluid level and rear brakes and both were fine,i'll check front pads in the morning hopefully this will be the problem,also one other thing the badge at the front is pink with i in the middle i thought these were on a wrx sti or has previous owner just changed the badge? cheers

Black badge with an 'i' is a wrx badge.
I think on the early wrxs the abs block was behind the drivers headlight (looks like a brass block with 4 thin,hard pipes coming out of it).

Stamp on the brakes in the wet.

If the wheels do not lock up but "judder", you have ABS.

If they lock up you either do not have ABS or it is not working.

Simple.
