Default Tyre Pressure

This old chestnut

Just had a set of F1 GSD3 205/50/16's fitted.

I don't drive like a maniac, so am after ideal pressures for tyre life rather than handling - Any suggestions for this size / tyre ??

Cheers.

For me with the same size tyres on subaru alloys (from a late model) i've stuck with the recommended tyre pressures (34 front,32 rear) this is on a 93 wrx.

I found the recommended pressures were not high enough for me as the tyre edges were wearing and so I upped them by around 2-3 psi.

I was running nitrogen though which does not increase in pressure as much as air when running owing to lack of water vapour.

I don't believe my driving style is maniacal - just don't tend to slow for corners in the myriad of 30 and 40 limts we have.

More likely you don't HAVE to slow for the corners
