Default Track day Braking

I'm going to purchasing a 93/94 wrx import and going to be taking it to track days once a month. My previous 93 wrx had the standard 2 pot brakes with ebc pads. Even with those my stopping power was questionable. Would a set of 4 pot brakes (off a classic Sti) with decent disc's and pads be sufficient or should I be looking at ap racing style kits?

IMHO for the track the std 4pots are not up to the job. They do fade quite easily.
You would be much better off with a set of AP/Brembo's or even a Godspeed 335 kit...

A big brake kit from the likes of AP, Brembo, KAD, Godspeed, Stoptech, Tarox, K-sport etc is definatly the way froward.

cheers for the advice, confirms what i was thinking from browsing the forum and web sites. Can anyone recommend me a good web site for pricing,

Scoobyshop have BREMSPORT 4 pot brake kit for just under 1k and the AP 4 pot brake for 1700, is the extra 700 worth it when i'm on the track?

I'd say for track work get the biggest kit you can - and the thicker discs as they can stand the heat better.

Track work = big, two-piece disks, uprated suspension and a balanced rear set up.

It also depends on the track - Donington is a brake killer; Snetterton a walk in the park.
