It's a while since I changed tyres, I need 2 front tyres and live near Bristol. Tyre wear indicates that an alignment check is overdue so, my questions are:

What's the best tyre out there at the moment?
Where can I get them fitted and trust they'll do a cracking job, including the alignment?
