Question How to check rims are genuine Volks/ Rays Eng please ??

i am mid way through negotiations of a set of alleged genuine Rays Engineering/Volks STi TE37 alloys. Is there a simple way to double check?, serials?, embossing?

From pics they look the genuine article, can anybody confirm if these look like TE37's ..16" by the way

Cheers All

Yes they do look to be the genuine article as i had a set of these on mine for a while. It would be worth checking how much they weigh, as i could easily pick mine up with one hand even with the tyre on.

I had the same wheels in WHITE w/blue logo. so light I believe they were 11 pounds and change. Did someone take the Rays logo off. Check their website to see if these indeed come with a logo. Should be on one of the spokes. Get these and you lose a ton of unsprung suspension weight

that's an exellent bit on unsprung weight...on top of that anything that is lightened up front on Subaru's is a good thing. With all the extra weight up front from AWD any bulk you can take off will help with balancing the cars F/R bias.

The replicas usually have 10x bolt holes in the centre to allow for multi-fitment also
