Just ordered rear pads for my newage and I was looking for Ferodo DS 2500 as recommended by quite a few people. (mainly fast road and a wee bit if track action), ordered from AS performance as excellent price and service, however, received them and marked on the pads is DS3000.

Are these effectiively the same??

If so, then no probs, but I don't want pads that only work well in extreme circumstances, looking for a good pad that's a bit of an all rounder.

A bit of confirmation would be great!!

mike can you tell me the part number on the box?? does it end in "R" or "H"??
looks like maybe they have been mis-picked??

Hi Alyn, on the box it says - ECP1327H

well the part number is correct for ds2500, the "H" suffix being the compound I.D

the pads should be marked as ds2500 also, unless there has been some mix-up with the factory??
