Default Enkei RP03 in a classic

Any one have these?

I´m searching for some rims for my MY97 Scooby. Right now I was decided in a set of Rota SDR 17x7,5 ET48, but I found a good deal on Enkei RP03, 17x8 ET48, for just 100€ more.

Does any one know if I will have any rubbing or other problem after fittins these rims? I will install 215 wide tires and I'm running stock suspension right now, although I will add coilovers in the future with a drop of 1" or so.

What do you think about this?

About tires I also doubt about 205/45/17 or 215/40/17. What should be the best choice? The price for tires is about the same, but I don't know if the 17x8 Enkeis are too big for just a 205 wide tire.

I used to run 215/40's when i had 17" wheels, the rolling circumferance is more or less the same as 205/45.

They will rub on the rear. 17x7in ET 52 and 215/40x17 is max on a Classic, and will also be ok on lowered suspension.

Also check caliper clearance on the fronts before you buy.

Richard.
