I've got 32 at the front & 31 at the back. By the way, use a digital tyre pressure reader coz petrol station pumps are "WAY" out. I've found one to be +/-8psi

Silly question time.

Bought a 5 door STi 2 a few weeks ago and have no info at all on the car.

Could someone please let me know what the tyre pressures should be?

They are 205/50x16's.

I prefer to measure the pressures always in the same petrol station because the result is relative, not absolute.
Anybody has different thought, although I think 3 psi up front is good for neutral to oversteer performance.
My opinion is 35psi front 32psi rear, but mine is standard MY2000 turbo, different car!

Hi Colin
205/50/16 Tyre Pressure as recommended by Subaru:
Front 33 psi
Rear 28 psi
The higher front pressure since the front half of the car is heavier than the rear. Dont rely on the gas station gauges as they are notably unreliable!! Buy an analog or digital gauge and check the tyre pressure when they are cold since the friction creates by the tyre on the roads can raise the pressure by as much as 3-5 psi.
