34psi too high for 215/40/17 ???
ive got 17" wheels with 215/40/17,
i read a few posts about recomended tyre pressures on this site so checked mine.
i put 34psi in fronts
32psi in rears
the proble is that steering feels a lot lighter, and on a wet road i got understeer on a corner that wasnt really a tight corner.
are those recomendations for dry roads?
because i think mine were a lot better with a bit less pressure but im not sure what they were

I run 36 psi in the fronts and 32 psi in the rear on my car. No problems with understeer but maybe the DCCD has something to do with that.
Different tyres will need different pressures because of the sidewall stiffness/construction.
The pressures you can run are not set in stone, experiment a little.

i run 34 fronts and 32 rears (yokohama parada spec 2 tyres)
mainly for the fact that i always trash the innner and outer edges on tyres, this way at least i get the full tread wearing out LOL
it can make it a little slippy in the wet IMO
