as above what size tyres (17") on classic sti.???????????

From what I have read, classic ET is generally between 48-55, so you might need to roll the rear arches to fit without rubbing. 215 seems to be the max width with 40-45 profile.

got 215/40's on and they rubbed so i chucked my old alloys back on,
i wonder if 205/40's would do ??
i brought them of a lad who had them on his classic with 205/40/17's on.
