Default Sti rear pads

I have recently tried to fit a set of rear pads on my 03 Sti but been having a bit of trouble. The front fit like a glove, but the rears dont seem to fit!!! They are EBC red stuff pads. Anyone else had probs fitting rear pads on their sti? If so any advice, think it may be something to do with the handbrake??

as the handbrake is inside the bell of the disc it will have no bearing on wether the pads fit or not.......................
what problems are you having exactly??

What part number do you have?
It should be DP31538C.

Sorry guys. The original post may be misleading. I put a set of EBC pads on the front and they fit like a glove, no probs. I tried to fit a set of OMP on the back and had a problem in doing so. They were way to tight, no way was I going to get the pads and the shims to fit. I was advised that maybe I needed to adjust/release the handbrake for them to fit. I have ordered a set of rear EBC now so hopefully they will fir ok!!

as initially stated the handbrake has no bearing on the caliper assembly, poss ibly wrong part number or simply a poor fit!!
