Default Problems since changing disks

Having just changed the front disks and pads, it feels like my ABS kicks in too easily. I notice it most when braking on uneven surfaces.

Is there something wrong do you think or is it just that my brakes are now much better than they used to be??!!

As you say, the brakes are probably that much more effective that the wheels are locking up easier (than before) and causing the ABS to take action. Make sure you bed the pads/discs in before pushing them or they'll glaze over and you'll loose some of that new found braking power.
