total overkill for road use IMO

you'd be better off with a 4 pot kit from a later impreza.

Sedgley pal ,

408bhp so the brakes are worth it, and i havn't finished yet lots to come and you can never have overkill on brakes, so many people mod there cars and never back it up with the safe things

As above, go for the Subaru 4 pots, and use a good pad. I find the Pagid's very good.
Might also want to look at doing to 2 pot rear conversion aswell

<ouch> 20 and modding the brakes will undoubtedly do something nasty to your insurance.

Almost better to sell the car and buy a UK Turbo - MY99 or MY00 model (which has 4 pots as standard).

Talk to your ins. co. about the Subaru 4 pots though. As they're fitted to later models of Impreza, they might not class it as a mod.
