Default Porsche brembo 4 pot rear brake conversion.

Has anyone fitted brembo 4 pot calipers to the rear of their subaru?, as I'm milling over the idea of fitting Porsche brembo 4 pot calipers off the Porsche boxster s to the rear of my Subaru as currently have Porsche brembo 6 pots fitted to the front and I'm find the rear is under braking on the standard set up. I'm thinking of using AP 335mm rear rotors and mounting brackets, has anyone else successfully carried out such modification and what parts did they use.

What do you mean by the rear is underbraking ? i run AP 6 pots up front and have found the 2 pot brembos fine. 4 pots seem like overkill to me on the rear what does everyone else think ? why don't you buy an adjustable brake bias valve and dial a bit more into the rear. Last thing you want to do is go to the exspense of having bells brackets etc made up and find the rear locks under heavy braking.

a brake bias valve to the rear would only allow you to lower the rear effort not increase it.............................

I've just bought a set of recondition brembo 2 pots so I'll see how these work. I currently have a set of sliding calipers with worn pads so not a brilliant setup to start with, so should see a good improvement. Thanks for the feedback
