MY01 WRX Brake Disc/Pad Upgrade Advice
Hi All,
My front discs and pads need replacing and rather than fit standard OE replacements I thought I'd fit something better, hopefully for around the same sort of money.
Can anyone help with advice on a good quality upgrade that'll fit my standard 4 pot calipers, I fancy grooved discs and fast road pads - anyone recommend good products and price-competetive suppliers?
Thanks.

I fitted a big 6 pot kit from Godspeed to my car , but see they offer standard sized grooved discs for £100 a pair for the 4 pot set up , drop them a line , i'm sure they can help , ian@godspeedbrakes.co.uk

Thanks, I was thinking about Godspeed because I only live about 5 miles from them, however I was recommended Tarox discs and fast road pads and it got me wondering about other possibilities?
Anyone else with any advice?

I'm finally taking the plunge and getting some AP 4 pot 330mm fronts as the standard disc's are about shot.
At my current spec (330-340 ish) I felt that even with uprated Padgid 42-1's, hoses and fluid the brakes were always borderline when really pushing on..!
Expensive, but at least it should rid me of the final weak link..!

got the EBC disks on my car (wrx02) at the moment seem ok about the same price as OE's
EBC red stuff ceramic pads not so good
using preditor pads now and are good alround
not tried the ferrodo (a bit expensive)
Mintex 1155's are the best ive used allthough a bit dusty
