'Clamp' on frontbrake Type RA?
A friend of mine owned a Type RA MY06, so I did inspect it what differencies i can find to the 'normal' Sti.
And i found an interesting thing on the front brakes, the calipers are bolted on with longer bolts than on the 'normal Sti, to mount a 'clamp' too.
This thing is a massive iron part, which will go from one caliper bolting hole to the other.... does anyone know what i mean
What for ist this part? I have heard that also the new Sti's should have this

No, it's definitly not a fix part, because a friend mounted this now on a classic impreza GT, it's a single, bolted part which can be buyed as spare part by any Subi dealer. Price was approx. 50€/piece.

Yeah I have seen the parts you mean, the 05 spec C's were the first to get this improvement. It's to increase rigidity in that area.
