Brake query with new pads fitted and goodridge lines
bled lines all ok and pads fitted but when driving the first press of the pedal does nothing the 2nd full press starts to slow the car down well??
Any ideas have done quite a few miles on some rural roads.
How long do they take to bed in????
Can any one recommend anything

sound slike some air still in the system??
sometimes with new pads they can be 'soft' until bedded in, but this wouldn't give you a firm pedal on 2nd application............

Defo sounds like you need to let them bed in properly. How many miles have you done on them..?
The first few brake applications using new pads can be very scary. After this they should start to bite much better. Do a search for brake bedding techniques.
If they're still not biting well (and presuming they're not track pads) then I presume you kept the friction material free from grease/oil etc whilst fitting..? If they are contaminated then they're usually scrap, although you could try spraying them with brake cleaner.
