New on front old on back?
Right time has come to put new discs and pads on my 94 sti wagon, the fronts are in major need of changing as are warpped but the backs don't seem too bad. So seeing as i'm not feeling too flush at the moment was planing on only changing the fronts this month. I'm thinking of EBC turbo grooved discs and Red/green pads but will this be ok with standard still on the rear?
Cheers.
Cheers.

The rears don't do a great deal TBH so yeah do the fronts first if you're that short of cash. The fronts do most of the work. EBC Green's aren't good enough for a Scoob, go for at least reds or better or something other than EBC. Some rate them, some don't.
It's not worth scrimping on brakes, get the rears sorted as soon as you have the cash. Could save your life!

I'm doing the same thing to my wrx wagon. Although i'm thinking Black Diamond grooved disc's for the front and i was thinking of keeping the rear ones standard, is this a good move? or do I have to change both?
Not sure what pads I want yet as I thought predator ones will do but according to a salesman I emailed they aren't up to the job.
I might go with mintex.

Speak to Alyn at AS Performance. Good guy, good advice, good prices, good service. Is that good enough for you
Upgrading 2-pot fronts to 4-pots is well worth it - you'll notice a big difference.
Richard.
PS Ditto RichieW
