Afternoon all, im looking into buying some 17" alloys for my UK Turbo 2000 but im not sure on something.

Do you have to get wider tyres to go on the back or are the tyres exactly the same front to back?

I had to get wider tyres on the rear for my last car but just thought id check.

Nope, being AWD means the power is distributed evenly through all 4 wheels.
I take it your last car was a RWD number, hence needing better grip at the back?

Yes my last car was RWD, i had an MR2 Turbo and that thing definately needed bigger wheels at the back!!
