03 WRX and 18" rims, and Eibach springs
Has anyone on their 03 or thereabouts WRX changed for 18" rims, and more specifically if you also have Eibachs i would like to know your opinions on the usual things, ride quality, tramlining, etc, etc.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Got my 04 with Prodrive Springs and 18's.
Ride quality is not bad(never drove it with standard springs and came from an STi Type R, so anything is going to be 'softer')
Can tramline a bit and occasionally can be 'pulled' about but overall well worth the effort.
Steering appears slightly more focused on 225/40 tyres as well.

I've got a WRX300 on Eibachs with some Whiteline bits and loved it in comaparison to standard on 17"s. I then added Brembos so needed some 18's to clear them. Love it sets the car up lovely. Fuzz (Rich) at Powerstation set it up last time and its Tidy. Got the wheels (GRA's) from Rarerims.co.uk and have to say the F1's are a great tyre as well.
Go for it.

I have to agree with the above. In that even on my 17's, with worn tyres it tramlines badly. I put up with what i thought was normal behaviour until i finally got myself two new front tyres, the difference was unreal, i actually laughed at how bad it was before. I couldnt believe that having the new ones changed it so much. But now i know what to 'feel' for i will know what it is this time around.
That is, if i ever get to wear out any tyres. I am that lucky, i have paid for 6 tyres, and only ever worn out two, the other four were changed due to punctures every time there was screws in them.
And i have yet anohter ******* screw in my tyre now. Its a joke.
All i can say is, i must be well liked by someone around me.
I would love to know whats it like to wear one out for change
