Default Wheel Offset Guru's advise required!

Hi,

I was going to take part in the current Invot wheel group buy, but I have some concerns about the wheel offset on offer.

Basically the only offset available in the wheel style/size I’m after (18x7.5) is ET38.

I’m advised that they will physically fit on the car (Standard MY04 WRX) without fouling anything. However, I’m worried that this small offset will cause excessive load on the wheel bearing, as I believe that ET38 will shift the centre load point too far from its original position. Am I right to be concerned?

Would appreciate some advice from you guys.

Cheers.

ET38 is too far out. Sounds like they are either VW or Toyota wheels, not designed for a Subaru.

I have ET48 on mine with Inovites (Tarmacs) and they fit perfectly and tight inside the arches with no rubbing/scraping issues.

Hope this helps?
