Default changing pads faqs

I am looking to replace my oe pads for ds2500s on my my05sti.

are there any faqs, with photos showing exactly how to do it?

I am assuming the 2 pins need removing by knocking them through..do the pads just lift out?

might need a bit of gentle encouragement to get them out. I used a screwdriver on the bottom of the pad rather than lever against the caliper. Do one side of the caliper at a time, as when you push the calipers in there is a chance that the other side could pop out if there is no pad there. On pushing the pistons back into the calipers I put a piece of pipe onto the bleed nipple and unscrewed the nipple to allow the fluid to come out. Two reasons for this, 1. I am certain I saw somewhere that it was not a good idea to push fluid back through the ABS unit. 2. The fluid in the caliper takes all the heat from the brakes which could be detremental so I use it as a oppurtunity to purge the fluid out (personal preference)

Oops missed that bit. Remove the R pins then knock the pins through you will need something small enough to use as a drift to push the pins through, as the pins are nearly all the way out you will need to push the spring down to take pressure of the pin. Take your time and think before jumping in.
