Which way round for discs??????
Right then!!!
Got uprated discs and pads on my newage
Which way should the grooves be running in too the front brake caliper
What i mean is that on mine the outer edge of the groove on the disc is running in to the disc first
I will try and get some pics on for tomorrow to show you guys.
Cheers
Mike

I thought that until I realised that every manufacturer is different. Some have the grooves running outside in, some have it inside to out, some it doesn't matter. The bit that matters is the venting channels. IIRC most discs have channels that go straight out from the centre of the disc radially. With those it doesn't matter which way the outer grooves turn. More expensive discs have venting channels that don't go straight out from the centre, therefore as they go round they must be fitted so the channels are leaning backwards.

Listen to Chelspeed Kitch.
The discs act like a centrifuge when in forward motion. pulling air in from the centre of the disc.
Vane direction is important!
Groove direction is NOT!
