Default Fitting Braded Hoses

I am about to fit brades hoses to my WRX. I have heard that there is a certain sequence that is needed to bleed the brakes i.e. Front left then rear left. I heard it is due to the ABS set up. Any ideas?

The workshop manual for a 2002 WRX states

Front Right
Rear Left
Front Left
Rear Right

Is there a change from 2002 to 2005??

Weird. I thought it was basically the furthest first, working your way to the nearest i.e. n/s rear, o/s rear, n/s front, o/s front. This ensures that once you've bled the furthest one, any bubbles are ready to pop out at the other three calipers rather than half way down a line, wasting fluid. Or that's the theory and it seems like it would waste less fluid. ANyway, I did it that way, and I've not had any problems.
