Brembo Brake shim
I changed my pads a few weeks ago from EBC to ds2500 on my STi MY02. As the EBC don't use the shims, I never had them so I have just purchased some to stop the low speed squeek. There is only one per corner, so where does it go ?
I know I may sound a bit simple, but advice appreciated.

An old post i know, but thought i'd answer it while i'm asking another question along the same lines...
The shim sit's flush with the rear of the pad. The caliper pin holds it in place. Make sure it's put on the right way around otherwise it'll squel like mad. Some shims have arrows to show the rotation direction but not all do.
My question - where can you buy Brembo caliper shims seperately? Are they all one thickness, or can you get slightly thicker ones?
