Thumbs up M1144's for 335 godspeed kit

Hi all, long time no post.

Having issues with the DS2500's I've got with this kit, thought I'd try something else.

Has anyone who's ordered this kit got the part no. for the M1144 oversized pads?

Cheers

Boultsy.

If you call Alyn at ASPerformance, he'll sort you out, all you need then do is spend five minutes with a small round file......

Saying that, he recomended me to use standard shape pads, due to the pistons being off centre on the bigger ones......

cheers RON,

I'll try him tomorrow.

So you've got this kit yes?

Are you saying Alyn recomended std sized pads, I assume you ignored this advice?

Yes, i have the kit, and am very pleased with it, i have the ds2500 pads in mine, and they're fine, i did go for the big pads though, cos i do so little mileage it won't worry me, the bigger pads do seem to wear slightly uneven due to the off centre pistons,... and to be honest, the difference in braking would be minimal between standard shape pads and the big ones.....

I also have the ds pads in the rear of the car, just to keep it all equal.....

I have the mintex 1144s from Ian and they are a huge step up from the red-stuffs I had before when cold but not as good when very hot. I don't know part numbers though as Ian drills out the holes to make them fit - I think they come from a Jag originally.
