Default swapping front wheels to back/back wheels to front

just moved my rear wheels to the front and front wheels to the rear
and adjusted the pressures
is this good practice to get most out of tyres before changing?
Doesn't affect tracking etc... does it?

thanks for info

I try and do it every 2500 miles or so, stops the fronts getting eaten before the rears. Should not affect any set up, but I’ve noticed the car drives a little differently with the “square” edged tyres from the rear put on the front. Soon settles in though

No effect on tracking because tracking is not to do with the actual wheels themselves, but what the wheels attach to.

It's a good idea to swap back to front, and also side to side to even out wear.

this is a bit **** woodcote, but how did you go about swapping your wheels over?

did you do it one at a time using the subaru jack or if you used a trolley jack what did you use as the jacking point?

Can be tricky if the tyres are directional; at least front to back can be done without removing the tyres themselves!
