Question Grippiest Rubber (Tyres!)

Any recommendations for the grippiest tyres for a) dry use and b) wet use?

You know the answer:
Kumho V70 Medium compound on 17's and soft/med on 16's.

Even the EVO has fitted them now.(took class record at Loton)

Yes, but I think I can only use those on list 1a - the 'standard' road legal type

Then it has to be Toyo TR1 buffed down to 50%, lowest profile possible.

How doughnuts do you need to do to get to scrub them to 50%?

Bridgestone RE070s for dry tracks .. bit hard on normal roads

I'm just getting some v70's in 17 40 205's in medium from bmtr, unless you can suggest somewhere cheaper.
