Quick poll on SO2 prices
#1
It's time to raid the piggy bank again and shell out for a new set of tyres for my Terzo.
The first quote I've had is offering 205/50 zr16 SO2 PP's for £129 each all in.
Has anyone else bought so2's recently and if so is this way over the top or about right ?
Oh, and if anyone knows where I can get them cheaper than this within an hour of Edinburgh let me know
Cheers
Andy

I paid £99 per corner all in, Alba tyres in Leeds. Had to haggle with Tony first!
Cheapest quote was for £94 all in at Bracknell tyre and Battery.
This may not help if you are in Scotland, but you may be able to get the cost down with this info.

Who would have thought it would cost so much to ship these things up to Scotland ? There must be an extra tax at the border or something!
Having asked the tyre guy if he was sure he could still get S02's and him saying there wouldn't be a problem it turns out there is
Apparently Bridgestone UK have no SO2's left in stock and the only ones left in circulation are those with the distributors or merchants.
But I have managed to track one down at my dealers tyre depot (apparently the last one they have) and this will do to swap out for the damaged one.
Still it looks as though next time round it will be time to decide between SO3's and the various alternatives
Cheers for the replies
