Default Godspeed brake pad question?

http://www.zen24039.zen.co.uk/Scooby...s/DSCF0003.jpg

pic used off another post, hope you dont mind.

Why question is, does anyones pads sit slightly further past the disc once they have replaced them?
My pads always seem to ware down and leave about 1 -2 mm of full pad where it sits past the outside of the disc. Is this ok or do i need to do anything to fix the problem and also is it easy to replace the seals on the calipers to give the 4 pots a wee overhaul?

The pad position looks ok, my 335/subaru 4 pots have always been like this.

yes they all are like that , a trade off of fitting larger discs to the same calipers

If the pad covers the entire surface of the disc, then it won't be a problem. My Ferodo pads had a 1mm lip on them as they sat outside the disc too.

My pads over lap the edge of the disc too... it would appear to be the norm...with the 335 kit....
