T1-S vs Parada vs T1-R vs "others"
I'm just about to flex my flexible friend and get some 18" PFF replicas. The only problem is, the gun metals in one stockist are £200 more than another stockist, but they only have silver. (anyone recommend any stockists??)
So i'm stuck now for tyre choice. I know people opinions will vary but i'm interested to hear. I just want an all round good tyre, dry & wet, minimal road noise, average wear would be nice.
One stockist didn't rate the T1-Rs as they very noisy, and was pushing the parada's. The parada's are cheapest. What are people's opinions??
(I've read the yoko thread earlier, seemed to generate a lot of interest, so they must be fine).
If i take the wheels-only from the dearer stockist, where could i get the tyres cheaply? (located in scotland if that helps).

I think Revolution (Newcastle?) are quite competetive for tyres.
Mate has the Yokos and likes them. Prefers them to the P-Zeros (Nero) and S03s. Has compared all 3 on road and track. I heard the opposite re Toyos, ie that the T1-R is actually quieter than the T1-S. I had the T1-S and found no problems with tyre noise. Tbh this isn't a criteria I would consider when selecting tyres.

Thanks for the comments. The Yokos seems to be a new favourite in these circles and for £150 less than the T1-Rs, it's probably worth me getting them this time around.
