Creaking Sti Brakes - help !!!
Guys I’m really worried about my brakes .
When pressing the brake pedal I can hear very loudly, what I can only describe as a creaking noise from both front driver and passenger sides .
The brakes do seem ok whilst driving but when stationary at lights or parking up if I press the brakes its a very distinctive and loud creaking noise , which does get louder the harder I press them.
Its an 03 sti, the pads are EBC redstuff, and the disc and calipers are standard brembo. I’ve checked the brake fluid, from sight there appears plenty of life in the pads, and the disc looks ok too.
Advise is desperately needed...

IMHO:
Back to basics:
Remove the wheels and remove the pads carefully marking up what goes where, one caliper at a time.
If the pads do not come out easily then clean any rust from the slide faces/pads so the pads will almost be a 'rattle-fit'.
Carefully compress each piston back into the caliper and check they all (4) move in and out freely.
Clean the calipers where the pads go with proper cleaner spray.
Fit the shims and apply coppa slip grease (Halfords) and re-assemble.
Start engine and press the brake pedal several times to seat the pads to the calipers. Check brake fluid level.
Creaking now gone?

since then ive been advised to carry out a process of elimination....
ive changes the pads to ferodo ds2500, the original hoses to goodrich braided hoses and changed the brake fluid to motul 5.1, re-greased and put back together.
im currently still bedding in my brakes, but only hear creaking when they get hot, ive still unfortunately got the problem . It appears as though the passanger front caliper maybe the culprit. The more i pump the brakes whilst stationary, the louder the noise becomes, but only when hot....

Sorry, but i repeat the post i made above, and suggest that all you have done will make no effect except they are good things to do, once the calipers are ok!
Your calipers ARE tightened up, the wheel bearings are OK?
