is it possible and what tyre size and offset is required

No probs, my mate had them on his, 215 35 19s. a small roll of the arches if you have it lowered and should be fine.

Just so happens I'm selling a set! look in for sale. ;-)

I have 18's no prob, can't comment on 19's though.

take it you dont want to drive it anywhere after theyv'e been ftitted then

not knocking him at all, only reason i say it is because the people i know who have gone bigger than 17's on a classic and drive them like they should be driven, have reverted back to 17's because it affects the handeling

i was asking for a friend who is considering this option
personally ive got 17s on my wagon thats been lowered a little and the wheels look just right under the arches
couldnt believe just how high the impreza is when i had one parked next to mine

I made sure i got the right set of 18's, and they are perfect.
I can drive it as hard as i want to and the roads/ traffic laws will allow
