did post this in another thread, but perhaps a dedicated thread might focus the issue.

ian,

would you consider making up a four pot brembo kit for the back wheels which replaces the standard drum handbrake with a hand opertaed caliper acting on one larger disc brake.

I will have 18 inch wheels soon, and want something better to fill the gaping holes bewteen the spokes.

would consider getting some brembo 6 or 8 pots for a 355mm disc up front and moving my ap six pots to the back, but can you make up brackets and discs to accomodate?

Even if it means retaining the rear drum and you making up some discs for the back with a alrger diameter, is this possible?

If you need a test car, mines always bloody off the road, another few weeks wouldnt make much diff

Adam, is this for your 22B? No ABS, right? You'll completely bollox the brake balance. Sounds like a mad idea (but that's never stopped you in the past... )

If you want big-looking discs on the back, why not fit a pair of those fake discs that our Maxxed friends put on their Novas? Ready drilled and choice of colours!!! LOL

Richard.

Hoppy,

A good point, naturally, but I would not fit such things unless I altered the brake bias to compensate!

Adam,

As you are (as usual) purely interested in the cosmetics, why not purchase a set of large, fake disk rotors to go between the wheel and hub?

I think this would suit you and your car perfectly
