Anyone know the cheapest place for decent tyres ?? Best quote so far was just under £100 for Goodyear F1s....

Is it possible to put bigger tyres on 16'' std 2000 model wheels ?

Haven't bought tyres for the Scoob for a while, but did get some new rubber for the Co' Golf a while ago and the best prices I could find were ProTyre in Lawrence Hill. I had 195/65/15 for £92 the pair all inclusive. You could try Brittania tyres in Fishponds, I had a chat with the boss there once and managed to get him to agree a discount for SIDC members.

Might be worth a try.

Cheers

Steve.

Well.. Best price for F1's was £84 from TyreMart in Patchway, chain's like Winterstoke etc would go to about £90 a tyre too. This set replaces my original RE010s. I only got 8500 out of those. Other people getting that sort of wear ?? Would have thought they were harder than F1's, so don't know what to expect from these !

Wink

Tracking was checked... tyre wear was pretty even... Just that my route into work is all fairly quiet / fast B - roads... So driving fast nearly all the time.
