The bodies / calipers on my 04 WRX brakes are wearing badly. The paint has all but flaked off and they look really poor. I dont know whats caused this, maybe just poor quality coating from the factory. (not like the shiney red brembo ones on the car next to it that I couldnt afford).
Any chance anybody has had this corrected or even replaced by Subaru. The rest of the car is mint. Someone told me to take them off and paint them myself, but I dont realy fancy it. Is there something in the warranty I could point to ???

Mine faded within six months from new, No help from the dealership apparantly they are made of cast iron on the front and Aliminuim on the rear ( Fronts usually worse ) Just paint them i'm gonna do.

thanks mate. thats such a cop out response from the dealer. this sort of thing shouldnt happen on a car of this quality / stature. i dont really want to mess about with them. anybody got any pics of what the results could be if i get my **** in gear ???
