Morning folks - can someone advise whether its safe (UK roads) to fit a set of tyres (part worns) that have been previously removed from another set of alloys?
context - I'm looking at buying a set of almost new Bridgestones previously removed from another scoob and having them fitted on mine. (215/50/16) - assume there is no problems doing this?
Any ideas?
thanks chaps

IMHO
I believe this is OK assuming that the tyrtes are not of of a crashed vehicle - really getting at the tyres have not been put through hell or had nasty impacts.
ideally the tread is the same depth on each of them - there should not be a difference in the two tyres fitted to each axle.
