Dunlop DZ02G track t- Which compound should I go for? H1 or R1?
hmm....well after an afternoon of keeping BT's share price up, I've found there really is NOWEHERE that stocks D-01J's in 235/40/18
However, the DZ02G DOES look to be as good a tyre and Dunlop wouldn;t have released a replacement to the D-01J without it offering some performance increase, surely!
So...anyway, I called Mr Tyre and they told me the DZ02G come in 2 compunds now:
- H1 - A harder compound
- R1 - A slightly softer compund.
Mr Tyre recommend the R1 for trackdays. However, one of the characteristics I adored of the D-01 was it's longevity on the track...I don't recall it ever overheating.
So....any ideas chaps?
