Default ET for aftermarket wheels?

What do you need to look out for when changing the wheels ona Classic?

Car is a 2000 classic, and I want to put 18" on it.

What tyre size to use?
Wheel width?
ET?
PCD?

Like the look of some of the wheels at Rare Rims.

Ta

ET45 is probably as low as you should go - might still get slight rubbing under load on the rear wheel arches even then.

I've got an offset of 45 on my 18's & when I had my standard suspension they would rub the arches when hitting big bumps. It would rub all the time if I put two people in the back That was even with 215/35-18's on.

Answer......Tein coilovers
