Urgent : which pads next??
#1
Hi everyone, pads have died today (greenstuff) so need some new ones, got about 4k out of these. Doing some trackdays again now so would like pads that will be usable on track as well as fast road. Tarox grooved disks. Any suggestions and where to get them please. Need this week before the IOW at the weekend.
Thanks
Dom

Mintex 1155 (I presume these are for the front?) -- not as good 'feel' as Greens but ultimately stop better. Now done about 10k miles and three track days on mine and they've still got about 5mm of friction material left on them. I got them from Scoobymania, but you can get them from lots of other places too.

I've found Padig blues good on my RB5. They work even better with their new disc as well.
Tim
Edited to say work not worn...doh!

after speaking to some peeps in the know, I've ordered a set of 1155's as these seem to be up to it for track, good on road and don't die after 1 session..thanks for all your input, it was gratefully appreciated...

Hi Dominic
As I have also Mintex 1155 with standard disks (4pots), and thinking about Tarox G88(drilled) or Tarox Sport Japan(combi), let me know your opinion after fitting the Mintex pads to your car.
What type are your Tarox disks?
Cheers
