I have bought ebc standard brake disks front and rear for my 1997 ukturbo, and red stuff pads are they any good? I wish i could get a big brake conversion something like ap racing brakes or brembos but sadly i cant afford them
thanks ukturbo

Jeeze, you don't help yourself by not making the post readable.

Anyway, going from the jist of it. There isn't "that" much differnece in grooved and plain discs unless your very hard on the brakes. The ECU grooved disc may get on your nerves anyway as they moan and whine like a B*tch when braking hard, and constantly buzzing when you have your window down. Whilst plane surface discs are quieter.

As for EBC pads, highly debated. Some say good, some say crap.

I refuse to buy them on principal based on the disgusting performance of their old pads (I know they now improved now though)
