Default brake calipers

will calipers from a my 99 turbo(rear ones) fit straight on to a my97/98, and are the discs the same, mine has solid rears, did the 99 have vented ones?

presumably you have a UK car.............................

the discs on yours are solid and the later 99 cars have vents, but the diameter is the same at 266mm..............therefore the later calipers fit but you would be better running the 'matched' vented discs too

they are wider, for the cost (around £55-60/pair!) then personally i would keep them as a matched set..................
