Default Pilot Sport PS2

Guys,

Anyone got these at present?

I'm just about to buy a set, seem to be a decent enough tyre according to some of the statements on here.
But having said that, I tried Toyo's based on comments read on here and I personally thought they were pretty crap.

I can also get these for £105 including fitting/balancing/VAT etc, which I think is a pretty good price?
Tyres size is 225/45/17.

Thanks,

Shaun

I wanted PS2's the last time I changed but they were too expensive - but that price sounds a storming deal.

I went for the P-Zero Rosso's instead.

Just make sure you get the right loadings - I think mine were costly cuz I wanted a 95Y rating on a 235/40/18.

How do you know what the load rating is/should be then?
Its for an MY05 UK STI.

I run them (225/40/18) for 38000km in my WRX MY03 and I am very happy not only from their performance but their durability as they have enough material for another 10000km!
Be aware though they have soft sidewalls (perfect for our bumpy roads) if you like tires as RE070 etc don't buy them!

I found mine really good when warmed up. From cold they didn't have much grip and you could easily lock them up. Nice enough tyre though, much better than the Toyo T1S.

Lasted well too, had to replace them at 12k and there was still half the tread left. Running Goodyear F1 now an prefer them as they grip better in the cold/wet conditions.

Excellent tyre in both the wet and dry. Had them on my 53 STI PPP for 6 weeks and I'm well impressed. Thats a good price too, I paid £452 for four.

Michelin's website gives this tyre a load index of 91, presumably 91 is high enough?

Exellent tyres mate

Awesome grip in the dry - - even better in the wet!

much quieter tyre noise in the car too - even better to listen to the scooby flat 4 soundtrack

I had 4 fitted at Costco's think they were £105 fitted ..

I highly rate them mate...

It might be prudent to check if Costco are doing the 25% off, like they do every year, usually twice a year.
I got 4 off 225/45 x 17 for £330 last February. It was £30 to join though.

Cheers

Thumbs up

I also had some fitted at Costco, amazing compared to the Goodyear Eagle F1's I have just taken off. £105 per tyre - well worth becoming a memeber of Costco!
