Apparently these 'Tarmacs' won't fit over Brembo's. If you read post #107 in the 'GB on 17 & 18" wheels' someone has already had this problem. Midland wheels sent the guy some spacers, however I wouldn't fancy having spacers on a scoob..!

There seems to be some confusion with people thinking these 'Tarmacs' are made by Rota (Tarmac II's which do fit over Brembo's), when clearly they are not.

Just wanted to comment about spacers. I had a set of brembo's (from a movit kit, essentially Porsche GT3 calipers) on my MY94 WRX Wagon and hit a similar snag as the MY01 wheels I had on would not clear the calipers. I was supplied with two 15mm spacers for the front wheels, along with longer bolts, and I ran this setup for quite some time without any issues at all.
I did have a few people at the time warn me not to run spacers, citing possible wheel bearin problems, but as said, I never saw an issue.

I could possibly have got away with using the standard bolts, but I wasn't happy with the lack of thread left, and so went for longer bolts, just to be on the safe side.
